Snowball Fudge

Snowball Fudge
1 2/3 cups sugar
1 small can evaporated milk (used only 5oz of the 12oz can)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 package (about 6 ounces) tiny marshmallows
1 cup (6oz) semi sweet chocolate pieces
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

1. Blend sugar, evaporated milk and salt in medium-size saucepan; heat to boiling; boil 5 minutes, stirring constantly; remove from heat.

2. Stir in half the marshmallows ( about 1 1/2 cups), chocolate, and vanilla; stir until melted and blended.

3. Pour into buttered square pan 8x8x2; sprinkle with remaining marshmallows and walnuts on top; swirl lightly into candy; chill, cut into squares when firm.
