Black and White cookies

When starting this blog we asked family members what their favorite cookies were that Grandma made, this weekend we made Aaron and Sharon's favorite Black and white cookies. Grandma made these cookies different then recipe stated, like she did with many cookies. She would do a sugar cookie and dip half of it in chocolate,  simple cookie but very delicious. We decide to to the actual recipe of these cookies, which are a sandwich cookie dipped in chocolate. The original recipe had many more steps then the simple sugar cookie, we think that grandma changed the recipe from the sandwich version because you don't get as many cookies out of it and there are more steps to it. In the end the original recipe for these cookies are DELICIOUS as the sandwich cookie. We are excited for Aaron and Sharon to get to have these cookies again next week when we get to see them.
