This weekend in honor of Easter we made Grandma’s Easter Bread. She made this sweet bread with hard boiled eggs every year during Easter with any children in the family during the holiday. She would make into a basket shape and put a hard boiled egg in the “basket”, she would let the kids decorate as they saw fit. When my mom was a child she said that the eggs that were colored were what was used for the bread. There was no specific recipe for this bread but we found a sweet bread recipe that grandma had that was similar to recipes we had found online.
