Crispy Pecan Logs

Crispy Pecan Logs
Sift:
2 cups flour
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup PET instant (in dry form)
1/3 cup Powder Sugar

Add and beat well:
½ cup shortening
½ cup Butter or Margarine
2 Tablespoon Vanilla
¼ Cup water

Stir in: 1 Cup finely cut pecans.
Shape Dough into logs about 2 ½” long. Place on cookie sheet. Bake near center of oven 10 to 12 minutes or until light brown. Remove from cookie sheet. While warm, roll in 1 cup sifted powder sugar
Oven: 375
Time: 10 – 12 minutes

Amount: 3 Dozen 2 ½” cookies.
